Coffee Conversations: More Random Stupid Stuff

I asked this question once before, but as of this moment, I still have not received a satisfactory answer.

When I see someone in a store and greet them, what am I supposed to do if I run into them again? Do I look down and ignore them? Do I say something dumb like, “Hey! Didn’t I just see you in the coffee aisle?” Or something else stupid like, “Don’t look in my cart.”

I’m really not one of those people who is excited to go shopping, hoping I’ll see someone I know. That’s actually the last thing I want to do. If I see someone I know from a distance, I’ll go around another aisle. It’s just my personality.

It doesn’t mean I’m a bad person. It’s no more my fault than my gray hair or size thirteen feet, or that I’m left-handed.

There are people with whom I’m comfortable, but meeting new people is never high on my to-do list.

Don’t tell me to change. It’s not your fault you’re a party loving hyper people person either.
