When you’re down have you noticed it’s hard to choose to do something you know will lift you up? If you’re one of those people who can always choose to do something to brighten your day when it’s running downhill, good for you. You’re in a small group so please be sure to spread that around. Don’t be surprised, however, when you run into folks who aren’t ready to jump in the “let’s be happy” boat with you.
Many of us have difficulty giving thanks when circumstances are negative, disappointing, or painful. Life, to some degree, has been challenging to all of us for the last twenty months. To many, it has been tragic.
It’s rather easy to be thankful when things are great, tough when they’re not.
I’m not writing under a blanket of awful circumstances, so I can easily say I’m thankful for fall colors.
